A good stylist can help you find a dress, but a great stylist is someone with a passion for fashion. Someone who can pair his keen eye for detail and unique ability to understand your style to find a look that embodies and amplifies it.
And there is one stylist that our customers recommend above all others.
Michael Alexander Shearer, a Highland High School graduate and Knox County native, has worked as a stylist at Henri’s for nearly two years. Michael has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of Henri’s girls prepare for every event from hometown homecomings to national pageants.
His contagious laugh and affinity for bow ties makes Michael a joy to be around, but it’s his enthusiasm for working with the latest trends that makes him a top-notch stylist.
“Being able to be a part of my clients’ special events and creating a second family.”
“The autism awareness event, and obviously, Miss Ohio USA!”
“The most difficult part of my job is telling a girl that the dress she loves is taken at her school. The most rewarding part would be finding her an even better dress to make her event special.”
Favorite food: KitKats
Favorite musician: Demi Levato, hands down. Oh, and Whitney Houston!

Favorite dress designer: Julie DuRocher from Jovani. But of course, I love all of the other awesome designers!
One thing you can’t live without: A choice – I go wherever the wind takes me!
Michael is the reigning, defending Henri’s Five-Star Challenge titleholder. Because of his outstanding service, Michael collected more five-star reviews than any other Henri’s employee during the 2015 homecoming season. Congratulations once again to Michael Shearer and all of the staff members who participated in the Henri’s Five-Star Challenge.
