Miss Ohio High School, Lexi Collins, was recently crowned the new Miss High School America! We are so excited to have one of our girls represent such an amazing program on a national level. Congratulations again to Lexi and to the new Miss Collegiate America, Megan Gordon, and the new Miss Junior High School America, Rylie Spicker, who will all receive a fabulous wardrobe sponsored by Henri’s Cloud Nine!
The Miss Junior High, High School, and Collegiate America Pageant and all of its 150+ contestants operate under the BRAVE platform, an anti-bullying campaign that stands for Building Respect and Value for Everyone.
Goals and Objectives of the BRAVE platform:
- To reduce the negative effects of bullying through being kind, courteous, friendly, caring, and respectful to others
- To raise awareness about bullying in schools, libraries, and communities.
- To raise awareness and promote legislation and policies in schools and communities that promote a bully-free and safe environment for children.
- To teach children to go to an adult or someone they trust when they see someone being bullied.
- To teach children and adults to be a standbyer, not a bystander when bullying is happening.
Lexi, Megan, and Rylie will spend the next year spreading the anti-bullying message to children and young people across the country in addition to their already busy schedules with modeling deals, ambassadorship opportunities, and being a part of a queen sisterhood 5 years strong. Keep up with Lexi and the girls on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and on Instagram @misshighschoolamerica.
