Hey Henri’s Girls!

After reviewing hundreds of amazing applications from across the country, the Henri’s creative team has chosen their Homecoming Ambassadors for 2018! Are you ready to meet them? This past weekend, the eleven chosen girls met up at Henri’s Cloud Nine in Columbus for an awesome photoshoot featuring this season’s latest #HOCO2018 trends!

 

Mae Farmer

Mae

Mae is a 16-years-old  sophomore from Indiana. She just recently began competing in pageants, and she tells us that she “absolutely loves them!” When she has free time, Mae says she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys public speaking, meeting new people, and taking photos. Mae is proud to be a straight-A student, and she plays the violin in her school’s orchestra. When asked to describe herself, Mae says that she is self motivated, and does everything with a passion. “I believe in moral character above all else, and being honest.”

Hannah Delashmutt

This Henri’s girl LOVES fashion! Hannah is a 16-years-old high school student from Nebraska. She has been competing in pageants for about four years, and she currently holds the title of NAM Nebraska Jr. Teen. Hannah enjoys traveling, running cross country and cheering on the Douglas County West High School Falcons. She volunteers in her community and has also established her own organization called “Hannah’s Heart.” When asked how her friends would describe her, Hannah says, “funny, loud, smiley, happy, dedicated, involved and cool.”

Julianna Corsi

Julianna

Eighteen-year-old Julianna is currently the USA National Miss Old Dominion Teen for the state of Virginia. She recently graduated high school, and is looking forward to attending Boston University this fall! Julianna is pretty well-rounded in her hobbies and interests, which includes painting, interior design, piano, and modeling (to name a few)! This past Spring, Julianna had the opportunity to model for Ashley Lauren, and she says that it was definitely an amazing experience! She also spends a lot of time serving her community through various charities and causes. Her personal platform, The Kindness Book Club, and UNM’s platform, The Crown C.A.R.E.S., keep her very busy! “Sharing the message of kindness through reading materials and discussions has been very rewarding,” Julianna told us. She also provides book drives, bake sales, and hosts donation drives to help classrooms in need!

Gracyn Blackmore

As a recent high school graduate from Virginia, 18-year-old Gracyn is looking forward to attending Virginia Tech this fall! While there, she will be double majoring in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising, with the hopes of one day working in Marketing/Advertising for a company high up in the fashion industry, such as Versace or Louis Vuitton. “What can I say? I like to dream big!” Gracyn is a former Miss Virginia Teen USA and Miss Ohio High School America. She also placed in the top 10 at Miss High School America. She told us she one day hopes to compete at Miss Collegiate America and Miss Virginia USA. “Henri’s is truly my family. I am ecstatic every time I get the opportunity to work with you all, and this is another way I get to see my favorite people and gain valuable experience all at the same time!”

Jahnai Elder

Jahnai

Jahnai is a 15-years-old high school freshman from Virginia and the reigning IJM District of Columbia Jr. Teen 2018. She loves playing volleyball and basketball, as well as competing in pageants and modeling. She is also a member of NAACP Youth chapter, DECA (Distributive Education Clubs Of America), Youth Council, and Girl Scouts Of America. Jahnai had the opportunity to be a Prom Ambassador last year, and she told us she enjoyed the experience so much! She said the experience taught her a lot about print modeling.

Alexis Van Winkle

An Ohio girl, 18-year-old Alexis will be a freshman at The University of Alabama this fall, where she’ll be studying Pre-Medicine and will be minoring in Spanish! She’s also looking forward to rush a Sorority. Throughout high school, Alexis graduated with an honor’s diploma, Global Scholars diploma, and graduated as a member of the National Honor Society. She also completed over 100 (!!!!!) hours of volunteer work at the Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store and at her local animal shelter. Along with pageants, Alexis is very active in the Equestrian world, and has been competing for over 12 years. She told us that she’s planning on competing at the Collegiate level as well! Currently, she’d like to focus her career in the medical field on Dermatology. Alexis has been an Ambassador for equestrian companies, and has been a big influence on social media.

Savannah Miles

Savannah

Savannah is 17-years-old from Georgia! She is an online student, and will be going into her senior year of high school this fall. After high school, she plans on graduating college and medical school with the hopes of becoming an Anesthesiologist. Currently, she is the reigning Miss Georgia Teen USA, and just recently returned from the Miss Teen USA competition. Savannah placed in the top 10 (in her custom Henri’s gown!!). She tells us that she’s “addicted to fashion, traveling, and being a complete foodie.”Breanna Burris

Breanna

At 17-years-old, this Michigan girl is a sideline and competitive varsity cheerleader, runs track, and is an honor roll student at Woodhaven High School. Breanna holds many Sunburst Michigan state pageant titles and is the current Miss Indiana High School America. She also loves to volunteer and hopes to pursue a career as a trauma nurse after graduating high school. Fun fact about Breanna: she can do a standing back tuck! When asked why she wanted to be an ambassador, Breanna said, “It would be a dream to come true to be a Henri’s girl.”

Gabriella Morando

Gabriella

Gabriella has been a Henri’s girl since 2013! This 16-year-old from Ohio loves serving her community. She is the founder of two organizations to help today’s youth: ‘Prevent Prepare, Stay Aware’, which is an initiative to raise awareness among youth about the dangers of human trafficking, and ‘ROSE – Raising Our Self Esteem’, which is a confidence building workshop for young girls. Besides community service, Gabriella says her passion is ballet. At five-years-old, she realized she wants to be a professional ballerina, and she is working toward that goal every day. “Ballet keeps me fit, and it challenges me to work harder than I ever knew I could, all while trying to make it look easy, beautiful, and graceful.” Gabriella told us that pageantry, modeling, dance, and community service have helped her grow into the confident young woman she is today. She also credits Henri’s in helping her grow. “I love Henri’s because, no matter who you are or what you look like, you can feel like the most beautiful woman in the world there.”

Bailey is 16-years-old from Arkansas and the reigning Miss Arkansas High School America. She was awarded this opportunity while competing at the 2018 Miss High School America pageant. Bailey enjoys paddle boarding, shopping, singing, embroidery and traveling. During her year as Miss Arkansas High, she has promoted the B.R.A.V.E. platform (Building Respect and Values for Everyone) with a special focus on food allergy bullying, which Bailey says is “very closer to my heart.” Bailey’s gorgeous red locks and bubbly personality was the perfect combination for this year’s Homecoming Ambassador program!

Ansley

This Tennessee girl was selected to model for Henri’s while representing the state of Kansas at the 2018 Miss High School America pageant where she placed in the Top 15. It was Ansley’s poise on stage and her captivating smile that resonated with Henri’s creative team and landed her the opportunity to become a Henri’s Homecoming Ambassador. During her time as Miss Kansas High, Ansley has completed over 700 hours of community service. After graduating from Munford High School, she hopes to attend the University of Alabama to pursue a degree in sports medicine.
